This framework, developed from a PhD study by Simone Ross, outlines the competencies for Australian medical students to incorporate leadership skills into their practice. Key components include developing self as a leader, leadership for healthcare collaboration and leadership for innovative healthcare. The framework is aided by an academic curriculum evaluation workbook.
