Dr Jillann Farmer Award Announcement

We are excited to share that our CEO, Dr Jillann Farmer, has received a Vice Chancellor’s Alumni Excellence Award from the University of Queensland.

The award recognises the significant contributions made by outstanding UQ alumni in the local community and beyond, with Jillann receiving it for global leadership in health, alongside many accomplishments as a medical practitioner.

Jillann on what inspired her to pursue her career path:

“I think the unifying theme is the great satisfaction I derive from trying to make people or systems better – particularly for the most disadvantaged. I think I was raised to have a strong sense of how lucky I was, and that this, when used well, can make such a difference.”
